Marburg Sommerakademie 2000/2001
Student Work: Computer Art Course
A 3 week workshop every July in digital art highlighting the interdependance between traditional materials and the new media. Special exercises in visual perception, sensory enhancement, painting with traditional materials and listening and dancing to music are all incorporated in this 3 week course. Photos from the course in 2000.
Students are encouraged to bring their own projects. The course material is geared to fine art and through the use of digital cameras, scanners and inkjet printers. Students are given prints of their creations to take home.
All hardware is donated by local merchants and Hewlet Packard. The digital studio has 16 terminals with an overhead projector.
