ReEntry O13-Duos Clarinet and Piano-Swiss Radio Days Vol. Three
..The two Night Critters cuts are frantic avant-garde duets. The first is built on two-tone blasts from the clarinet answered by the piano. The second also has a "dialogue feel, each instrument taking a turn at rapid-fire runs.
"Waltz for Dritt" one of the few composed pieces is a lovely descending duo that sounds like a melancholic minuet...
...The disk concludes with the best piano work yet: an almost classical solo, with a repeating bass pattern and lovely melody. The piano comes alive with flurries of soft phrases and note sprays.
ReEntry 012- John Fischer-Piano Solo-Swiss Radio Days - Vol. Two....

Fischer is one of, if not THE most reknowned avant garde pianist of the LOFT era...
DeutchlandRadio Berlin, Lothar Jaenichen
...unusual harmonic changes surprise, the dialogues are very emotional and sensitive as well and are surfing between lyrical improvisations and atonal sounds...
Jazz Podium (Stuttgart), Marcus Gammel
.."a deep human expression. Pianist John Fischer plays the whole of music history: romanticism, waltzes, 12-tone music, marches, swing. The versatile Kumpf blows his clarinet in a very vocal manner...
